The PHP 4.3.2 package is nearing completion and I'd appreciate it if a few users could test it out.

I have now added some scripts which will automatically activate the module in the httpd.conf file and restart the Apache web server.

Installation should now really be a snap without any terminal intervention required.

The package can be downloaded here: http://www2.entropy.ch/download/Entropy-PHP-4.3.2-3.dmg

BTW, the "-3" at the end is my own release number. So this is *my* third version of the *official* version 4.3.2.

Again, people who want to know what I'm up to, especially regarding the scripts which are now included, can check out the tools here:

I saw that you were testing the 4.3.2 on the PHP page and clicked the link and was trying to download the old version. You may want to update the page and post something in the other thread so people know there is another version to get.

Thanks for putting this together, I really appreciate it this, since it allows me to do development on my TiBook. Really makes a PowerBook the ultimate web developement machine.

I have a TiBook, and I can't get it to install the package. It errors right after selecting the target disk drive, and tells me to try again. I tried going back and trying again, and it still errored. My AIM is CalebJaffa or email calebATmedialeague.com if you want to walk through it with me so you can figure out what is going on.

I started digging around the package and tried decompressing the file Archive.pax.gz and it causes StuffIt Expander to unexpectedly quit. If I try and decompress it using tar (-zxvf flags) it tells me that it looks invalid and has 'obsolescent base-64 headers'.
